I have problems with the Android app.
The “update location” button doesnt work offline - its says “please wait” until “Timeout expired - Not able to locate!”
With wifi, it works normally though.

That is correct behaviour.
Your device is not getting a lock, therefore the app times out. Epicollect5 only reads the location data from the GPS receiver of the device.
If you are offline, the satellite lock is slower and will not work indoors. Therefore, be sure to be outdoors, under a clear sky, and not close to any magnetic fields. Buildings, mountains and trees can stop satellite signals. Then try again until you get a lock.
