So, I am making a new project.
We have a field “DNA Vial” and “RNA Vial”.
Is there a way to automatically fill based on a previous field? E.g. we get the data recorder to enter the DNA vial number and there is a matching RNA vial number that should be identical, it would save time if the field for RNA vial number would auto fill based on what is entered for DNA vial
Unfortunately, that is not possible during the data collection.
Nonetheless, if the RNA Vial number isn’t of immediate importance during the data collection phase, an alternative approach could involve generating the RNA Vial numbers automatically during the post-processing stage.
This could be achieved using tools like Excel macros, which can streamline the process and maintain consistency between the DNA and RNA vial numbers.
