We are just trying to get it approved through our organisation that we can use EpiCollect5 for our data collection and have been asked to provide the following - ‘their Cyber security information which should include any certification applied to the application for example Cyber Essentials or ISO27001/ISO27002 series and if these do not exist then a copy of the application development history’
We have explained to them that the software is openly available on the internet but they have stated that we have a duty of care to our citizen scientists who may be installing the app onto their devices.
