Is it not possible to use a fixed answer for a field that you can change along the fieldwork.
For example, I’m counting birds in 15 min transects, I would like to keep the number of the transect during those 15 minutes and after it, change to the next number.
Any idea?

you can set an “initial answer” to a question, it is available in the “Advanced” tab of that question when using the formbuilder, see →

Please be aware it might not be available for all the question types.
Thank you, I know that, I would like to change the initial answer at the field, when I’m recording data. Something like the initial answer is the last answer previously recorded.
